The Guangzhou International Finance Center is not only recognised as the tallest building in Guangzhou, but one of the most beautiful. A triangular base supports the slender, curvaceous structure to make efficient use of internal space.
One of the architect’s requirements for the BMU solution was that it could be used to facilitate the glass replacement process. The engineers designed a BMU with a large capacity hoist, twice the capacity required for most projects.
One of the three systems was designed with an articulated extension to provide personal access to the helipad on the roof of the skyscraper, as well as conventional facade access.
