CoxGomyl was proud to provide the facade access solution to the Chow Tai Fook Finance Centre in Tianjin, China. Rising an impressive 530 metres across the city skyline, the skyscraper is a mixed use development consisting of commercial and residential space including a hotel.
The dramatic architectural design consists of eight sloping columns to achieve a tapered form, designed to respond better to seismic activity and minimise the surface area of the facade exposed to the elements. The aerodynamics have also been factored into the design to reduce wind impact.
CoxGomyl were tasked with the challenge to deliver BMU systems to achieve full coverage and efficient cleaning cycles of the imposing building size. Five building maintenance units were designed and manufactured to maintain the impressive scale and form of the CTF Finance Centre to keep the iconic centre in pristine conditions for years to come.
