CoxGomyl recently completed a facade access solution for 245 Hammersmith Road in London, a mixed use residential and commercial complex. CoxGomyl’s experience was called upon to provide a facade access solution which consisted of two building maintenance units (BMUs), one of which travels on dual tracks on the roof and has a telescopic jib with an outreach of 14.5 metres and the other is located on level 10, discreetly parked in a small garage to be concealed out of sight.
Some challenges presented themselves in the form of varied recessed windows however the resulting building access systems ensured complete coverage of the building’s facade was possible.
